Pet Intestinal Surgery
We understand pet surgery can be stressful for you and your furry companion. Our veterinary team is dedicated to providing compassionate care and support throughout the entire process.
Pet Intestinal Surgery
Gastrotomy and Gastrectomy
These are surgical procedures for removing foreign objects from the stomach or tumors from the stomach wall.
Pyloromyotomy and Pylorectomy
These procedures facilitate the passage of intestinal contents from the stomach to the intestine more readily.
Intestinal Biopsy, Enterotomy, Resection and Anastomosis
These are common procedures used for the diagnosis and treatment of cancers as well as for relieving intestinal obstruction due to foreign objects.
Colectomy
Sub-total colectomies are performed to remove tumors or strictures of the colon or to treat megacolon in cats.
Rectal Tumor Removal
The most common rectal masses are polyps and adenomas, which are removed with simple lumpectomies. More aggressive rectal adenocarcinomas are removed with partial resection of the rectum.
Anal Gland Surgery
Anal gland resections may be performed to treat chronic anal gland infections or to remove anal gland tumors.
