Pet Euthanasia Guidance & Services

The word euthanasia is of Greek origin and means “good death.” It is an option available when our pets are suffering and no longer enjoying life. It can be a difficult decision, as pets often experience a mix of good and not-so-good days. The Riverbend team is here for questions, concerns, and support. We will spend time with you reviewing your pet’s quality of life and will support you in making an end-of-life decision.

Aftercare options include cremation. We work with Greener Pastures in Jaffrey, NH. They provide compassionate and respectful handling of pets.

Visit our resources section for websites offering grief support and more information for adults and children experiencing loss.

If you are interested in having house-call euthanasia, we highly recommend Dr. Lauren Atkins at pawsfindingpeace.
