Every single one of us at Riverbend appreciates how understanding and gracious you have been during this time of limited appointment availability, curbside visits, and Covid screenings. We have worked diligently to stay safe and well so we can be here for our patients.
The exciting news is that we are allowing one owner into the hospital with their pet for scheduled exams with our doctors. We will continue to do intakes and discharges over the phone. After the phone intake, we ask owners to come up to the front door, where a nurse will meet you and escort you in.
Owners coming into the hospital are required to wear a mask during their entire time in the hospital. Masks must fit tightly and cover the nose, mouth, and chin. We are also asking owners to remain seated while in the exam room, to help ensure social distancing. Our highest priority is to stay well, so that we can remain open and be here for you and your pets.
This is our modified curbside system. Technician visits, as well as medication and food pick-ups, will remain curbside for now. And owners have the option to request curbside for their scheduled visit, if that is preferred. We are happy to accommodate you if that is your choice.
We are using our confirmation calls, as well as text messaging, to inform our owners of updates to their appointments.
