All of us at Riverbend would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to our clients, who have been incredibly patient and supportive of us during this past year. Who would have ever thought, a year ago, that we’d still be doing this! You all graciously adjusted to this new way of going to the veterinarian and understood that switching to curbside care was our best way to protect staff and stay healthy so we could continue to treat our wonderful patients.

Thank you for weathering the anxiety of not being with your pet during these visits. We can assure you, your dogs and cats are doing great during their time with us, soaking up all the love and extra attention they’ve come to expect here. We do miss seeing you, our clients, face to face and having more personal interactions. That day will come again.

Now that vaccinations are becoming available, many clients have asked about being let back into the building. While some folks have been able to get vaccinated, most of us here have not. For whatever reason, Massachusetts put veterinary professionals in the last phase of vaccinating. With that in mind, please continue to be patient with us for the foreseeable future, as we will continue to practice curbside care until we deem it safe for our staff to open up the building to you.

We will continue to bring your pet inside, as well as require that you wear a mask and practice social distancing while in our parking lot and interacting with us.

Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for your support during this challenging time!

“Magic could hardly wait to burst through the door to see you…a true testament to the kindness and care she got at Riverbend. Thank you for being such an amazing bunch…to Magic and to me.”

“A gentle acknowledgement of the kindness in your practice. The greeting Leo got yesterday brings tears of happiness to my eyes as I write.”

Tammy and Chris, Leverett

“You can tell they love animals and this isn’t just a job. They care about the pets and the owners, and it shows through their work. I got many calls from Dr. White to check up on my sick kitty and see how we were all doing.”
