Covid 19 update 6.1.2020

We want to thank everyone for being patient and working with us during this difficult time. As of Monday, June 1, 2020, Riverbend Animal Hospital will be expanding our hours for the summer. The office will be open 8am to 5pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and 9am to 3pm on Wednesday. Our Wellness team will be seeing appointments mornings and afternoons and Dr. Thomson will be seeing surgical consult appointments and rechecks Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons and Wednesday mornings. We will close midday for lunch.

We will be continuing curbside care through the winter. As always, we are asking our owners to wear a mask while interacting with us and try to maintain social distancing. If you or anyone in your family is experiencing symptoms of Covid 19, please let us know as we may need to reschedule your appointment.

Medication and food pick-ups will be done as outside pick-ups. Owners will be asked to pay for their medications and food over the phone. Medications will be left in the blue metal box by the front door and food will be left on the side of Riverbend on our shed. Since all transactions are done over the phone, we do ask that you be patient as sometimes the lines may be busy when you try to call.

It is our goal to keep everyone safe and healthy over the summer so we can continue to be here for our owners, patients, and community.  We have implemented new protocols and procedures during this time with the goal of keeping everyone here and in the community healthy as well following guidelines set by the state of Massachusetts along with guidance of the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association).
